Equipment for field line building

Field cable is laid for connections between units and within units.

The work is carried out by field line patrols, either as ground control, which is fastest, or air control. The patrol consists of a manager, a deployer and an operator.

Ground wire: The cable is unrolled and fixed at regular intervals to rest against

the ground and don't get suspended in the air.

Air line: The cable is pulled out and lifted up with the line rod, the air line should be approx. 3 meters above the ground. At road crossing 6 metres.

Fixing points are made so that the cable hangs down and is properly stretched.

In the coastal artillery batteries, lines were drawn for the transmission of speech and data between measuring stations and plays when ordinary fixed lines did not work.
