MSK Right

For low-altitude photography with SF 37 underneath dusk and darkness (below an altitude of 500 meters) a dark reconnaissance capsule (MSK) was used left and right.

MSK right contains a flash unit (Lighting unit BXE 103) which covers an image angle of 60 degrees to the right in the direction of flight. The device works with infrared light, which means it is invisible to the human eye.

When photographing in the dark, you use the IR radiation from flash lamps where you remove all visible radiation with a black filter.

The thus illuminated object registered on the surveillance cameras' IR sensitive

photographic film.
